Early-season gravel weekend on the dirt roads around Stillwater, with 12, 50 and 100-mile rides plus a half marathon and 50K run. Weather in March can change conditions a lot from year to year. Entry is by ticket; transfers close on 1 March 2027.

The organiser hasn’t published the next date yet, so we’re showing when it normally runs rather than guessing. The official site will have it first.

Point-to-point 30-mile mountain bike race from Kalkaska to Timber Ridge Resort in Traverse City, held in early November when snow or cold is common. Amateurs start in waves in the morning, with the pro race later in the day; a shorter Slush Cup is also offered.
